# remove-trailing-slash

removes trailing slashes

## Installation

with [component(1)](http://component.io):

    $ component install stephenmathieson/remove-trailing-slash

with [npm](https://npmjs.org/):

    $ npm install remove-trailing-slash

## API

### `removeTrailingSlash(str)`

Removes trailing slashes from the given `str`

## Example

```js
var slashes = require('remove-trailing-slash')

slashes('http://google.com/').should.be.equal('http://google.com');
```
